Typical maintenance methods of Siemens CNC machine tools

1) there is no basic picture display after the power is turned on

(a) there is no monitoring light display on board 03840 of the circuit board

(b) the monitoring light on board 03840 is on


① the monitoring light flashes. If the flashing frequency of the monitoring lamp is 1Hz, the EPROM is faulty; If the flashing frequency is 2Hz, the PLC is faulty; If it flashes at 4Hz frequency, the battery alarm will be maintained, indicating that the voltage is insufficient

② the monitoring light is off on the left and on the right. It indicates that the interface board 03731 of the operation panel is faulty or the CRT is faulty

③ the monitoring light is always on. The common causes of this failure are: CPU failure; EPROM is faulty; The system bus (i.e. backplane) is faulty, the setting on the circuit board is incorrect, the machine tool data is incorrect, and the hardware of the circuit board (such as memory board, coupling board, measurement board) is faulty

2) the display on the CRT is chaotic

(a) the voltage of the battery (lithium battery) is too low. At this time, the No. 711 alarm can generally be displayed

(b) please contact our company because the source board or storage has been unplugged, resulting in confusion in the storage area. This is a soft fault, which can be eliminated as long as the CNC internal program is cleared and re entered

(c) the program display is confused due to the hardware failure on the power board or memory board

(d) if No. 513 alarm is displayed on the CRT, it indicates that the memory capacity is insufficient

3) the program cannot be started in automatic mode

(a) in this case, an alarm No. 351 is generated, indicating that the machine tool has not returned to the reference point after the CNC system is started

(b) the system is in automatic hold state

(c) cycle start is prohibited. Check the interface signal q64.3 between PLC and NC

4) feed axis movement fault

(a) feed axis cannot move. The causes of this fault are:

① incorrect operation mode

② the signal transmitted from PLC to NC is abnormal

③ the position control board is faulty (e.g. 0335003325 03315 board is faulty)

④ alarm No. 22 occurs, which indicates that the position ring is not ready

⑤ the measuring system is faulty. If 108118128138 alarm is generated, it is caused by the dirty measurement sensor. If 104114124134 alarm is generated, there is a hardware failure in the position ring

⑥ the motion axis is in the software limit state. It can be released as long as the machine tool axis moves in the opposite direction

⑦ when the No. 101111121131 alarm occurs, it indicates that the machine tool is in the mechanical clamping state

(b) the movement of the feed shaft is discontinuous

(c) feed shaft vibrates

① the parameters of the speed loop and current loop of the feed drive unit are not optimized, or the AC motor is out of phase or the speed measuring element is damaged, which can cause the feed shaft to vibrate

② the position control board of the CNC system is faulty

③ the friction force of the mechanism is too large

④ the data of CNC machine tool is incorrect, and the correct setting of relevant machine tool data is as follows

(d) the feed shaft is out of control

① if there is an alarm No. 101111121131, please check the clamping

② if there is No. 102112122132 alarm, it indicates that the command value is too high

③ the feed drive unit is faulty

④ the data setting of CNC machine tool is wrong, resulting in positive feedback of position control loop

⑤ the polarity of the command line from the CNC device to the drive unit is wrong

(E) alarm No. 103 ~ 133. This is the contour monitoring alarm. The speed loop parameters are not optimized or the kV coefficient is too large

(f) No. 105 ~ 135 alarm. It is caused by too large position drift. If the displacement exceeds 500mv, check the drift compensation parameters n230 ~ n233

5) spindle failure

if the actual spindle speed exceeds the maximum speed of the selected gear, an alarm No. 225 will be generated; If the spindle position ring monitoring fails, alarm No. 224 will occur

6) V 24 serial interface alarm

(a) when data is not sent or received within 20 seconds:

① external device failure

② wrong cable

③ the 03840 board is faulty

(b) perforated paper tape information cannot be input, and its original lightweight and consumption upgrading are due to market thrust:

① the key switch on the operation panel is in the off position, resulting in the paper tape program cannot be input

② if the data protection switch on board 0384 is not in the release position, the data tape cannot be input

③ if L80 ~ L99 and L900 ~ l999 subroutines cannot be input, it is mostly because the biggest difference between PLC and 787 (1) 0 aircraft and its brothers is that the NC interface signal q643 is "1" (cycle prohibition)

(c) stop bit error

① the baud rate is set incorrectly to realize the secularization and moderation of Islamic political parties
