The typical maintenance method of CNC machine tool

in the maintenance, the first method is to rely on the maintainer's sensory organs and use some common instruments to find the machine tool fault. In case of failure, the following components shall be checked one by one from the outside to the inside by using the methods of seeing, listening, smelling and touching

1) check whether the thermal relay trips, whether the fuse and circuit board are damaged, and the oil level height from the CRT

2) check the wiring and cables of mechanical moving parts. The wiring of these parts is easy to break due to stress fatigue

3) check the wiring terminals, unit connectors and other components. These parts are prone to broken wires or poor contact due to faulty welding, looseness, heating, oxidation or electrochemical corrosion

4) check the components of concrete admixture GB 8076 ⑴ 997 working in harsh environment. These components are prone to failure or aging due to heat, moisture, vibration, dust or oil

5) if the operator has moved the circuit board, it is also necessary to check the switch position, potentiometer setting, short circuit selection and whether the changed circuit is consistent with the original circuit. Pay attention to whether the vibration, sound, smell and operating temperature of the equipment are normal when the fault occurs. This kind of inspection is very simple, but it is very necessary

2. Principle analysis method

it is a method to analyze the level and characteristic parameters (such as voltage value or waveform) of each contact according to the composition and working principle of the numerical control system, and measure, analyze and compare them with multimeter, oscilloscope or logic analyzer, so as to systematically check the fault. To adopt this method, we must have a clear and in-depth understanding of all parts of the circuit of the whole system

when the "series" circuit fails, all components and connecting wires may be the fault source. For a long "series" circuit, it can be traced in two directions from the middle until the fault unit is found

3. Isolation method

it is a method to reduce the fault area by disconnecting the control circuit. This method is also often used to cut off the power supply of some parts in order to prevent the failure from expanding during the maintenance of machine tools. The feedback of CNC machine tools is complex, so the consequences must be considered when cutting off some control circuits, and it is forbidden to disconnect the protection circuit

4. Switching method

for two identical lines, they can be partially switched. But for CNC machine tools, the problem is not so simple. When exchanging a unit, it is necessary to ensure that the integrity of the patient's safety may be endangered once these materials fail in the big link of the unit (i.e. position control ring). Otherwise, the closed loop may be damaged, the protection link may fail, and the input of the integral regulator may not be balanced
